Why I Chose UCI/CHOC: I am from Irvine and essentially grew up at CHOC! CHOC is an incredible stand-alone children's hospital that provides exposure to all fields of pediatric medicine and is extremely active in the community. The program at UCI does a fantastic job providing residents with resources to develop as physicians and advance their careers. Some of the best beaches in the world are our next-door neighbors!is was where I could learn and train to be a great pediatrician.
